This ingenious 3D newspaper ad will mess with your head

NEWSPAPER CLASSIFIED PAGES are a little boring, right? Scratch that – a LOT boring.

But clever ads like this one just might make you want to take a look.

This ad by the Colombian designer Felipe Salazar constructs a whole kitchen on the classified page of a newspaper – can you make it out?

Yep, there’s the counters, and an oven, and a little gas hood for the stove.

The 3D is so convincing that we’re afraid we might fall in and have to live in a little paper world, like in the video for A-ha’s Take On Me. We’d be OK with that, actually.
